This sponge is ideal for wetting clamp strips. It is characterized by excellent moisture absorption and water retention. Once in contact with water, the sponge absorbs the liquid and stores it at lightning speed.
This makes it very easy to moisten clamping strips by briefly placing them on the sponge and pressing them down.
Note: If the sponge is exposed to air, it dries up and becomes hard, but if it comes into contact with wetness, it immediately becomes soft and elastic again.
